(ISC)² CISSP Certification Series

CISSP is one of the premier certifications in the IT security area, and a must-have for those IT professionals looking to advance their careers into management and beyond.

The (ISC)² CISSP certification was the first credential in the field of information security, accredited by the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 17024:2003. (ISC)² CISSP certification is not only an objective measure of excellence, but a globally recognized standard of achievement.

Many companies have made (ISC)² certifications mandatory for their Security Professionals. The U.S. Department of Defense recognizes (ISC)² certifications for information assurance technicians and managers under DoD Directive 8570.1M.
